Owner Profile - Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services
Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services has a long and rich tradition of identifying and meeting the healthcare needs of Floyd county and the surrounding areas. In 1947, 16 local civic leaders saw a need for additional hospital services to expand the aging St. Edward's Hospital in New Albany. Financed by donations, a bond issue and a Hill-Burton Grant, the hospital was constructed and equipped for a total of $1,510,284. read this article
