The centerpiece of this project is "The Islands", a re-creation of a South-Pacific island village. The holding buildings and viewing buildings surrounding the three distinct habitats provide a zoo experience unlike any other. The first of its kind, it allows animals to rotate through different habitats, keeping them alert and responsive to their environment.

The 15,000 sq. ft. pavilion includes eight distinct habitats, including the forest aviary and the penguin area, as well as instructional and meeting space.

The project was completed one month ahead of the original 24-month schedule. Close coordination and communication with the owner and architect brought this "small city" to a beautiful conclusion.
